Subway tiles, an hommage to the style of the 1900's

Emblematic of the Parisian metro stations since 1900, the Metro tiles were produced by Gien. Discarded for many years, these beveled white earthenware tiles are now considered a safe and timeless value for decoration.

Sygma-Group was inspired to develop an exclusive collection under the brand "Carrelage-Inox". Unlike other subway tiles with a stainless steel effect, which owe their appearance to the application of a simple coat of paint, "Carrelage-Inox" tiles are covered with a plate that gives them a longer life and resistance, creating an unmatched result, making it a component for an ideal bath or shower mosaic.

After disappearing for several centuries, they returned to their former glory in the early twentieth century with artists such as the Viennese Gustav Klimt and the Catalan Antoni Gaudi.
