International Press Release Distribution
Last Updated on 19 October 2026 by Francois Marsteau
Global press release distribution is not one send to a very long list. It is a set of national campaigns, each in the right language, each aimed at the journalists who cover your subject in that country. 24Presse is a PR agency founded in 2009: we write, translate and distribute releases from a single country to worldwide, and one team handles the whole campaign.

Global press release distribution: choose the scope your news deserves
The first decision is geographic, and the honest answer is usually smaller than the one you had in mind. A product launched in Germany and Austria does not need Asia. A funding round that matters to investors in London, Paris and New York does. Pay for the countries where journalists have a reason to care, not for the length of the list.
| Scope | One release | Pack of 10 | Typical use |
|---|---|---|---|
| One country | €395 | €1,195 | A national market: Germany, the UK, Spain, the United States, France… |
| One continent | €645 | €2,450 | A European or North American launch across several neighbouring markets |
| Two continents | €745 | €2,589 | Europe and North America, for instance |
| Three continents | €845 | €2,695 | A global industry story with a few key regions |
| Four continents or worldwide | €990 | €2,995 | News that is genuinely international |
Packs of three and five, and all the options, are on the pricing page. For a precise combination of countries — Germany, Austria and Switzerland, or Spain and Latin America — ask for a quote: we price the countries you need rather than a continent you do not.
What changes from one country to another
The language, first
Newsrooms work in their own language. A release in English sent to German, Spanish or French desks is a tip that someone would have to rewrite before using, and most will not. English works for international trade titles and for English-speaking markets; everywhere else, the local version is what turns a send into a distribution.
Our writing team works in seven languages, translation included. Translation is sold per language (€190), or in packs of three (€690) and five (€1,150) for multi-country campaigns. Translation is done by people who know the sector, because technical and financial vocabulary is where machine translation gives itself away.
The way the press is organised
Media markets do not share one shape, and the list has to follow the shape of each one. The Reuters Institute Digital News Report 2026 compares news habits country by country; here is what that means for a release:
| Market | What matters for a release |
|---|---|
| France | Centred on Paris for national titles, with a dense regional daily press and many trade monthlies. Release in French. Our France guide. |
| Germany | Federal: no single media capital, strong regional dailies, and a very large trade press (Fachpresse) that carries most B2B news. Release in German. Our Germany guide. |
| United Kingdom | National titles concentrated in London, an active trade press, and a strong habit of embargoed releases. Our UK guide. |
| Spain | National titles in Madrid and Barcelona, influential regional media, and co-official languages in some regions. Release in Spanish. Our Spain guide. |
| United States | A continental market: trade and vertical media, metropolitan dailies and online outlets matter more than any single national title. Our US guide. |
Time zones and the reachable contact
A journalist who calls at 3 pm local time and reaches a voicemail on another continent moves on to the next story. For each country, the release should name a contact who answers during local office hours, and say in which languages.
Calendars
August is quiet in much of southern Europe, the weeks around Christmas are quiet almost everywhere, and big trade fairs saturate the journalists of their sector. A multi-country campaign often means picking a date that works for all the markets, or staggering the sends.
How a global press release distribution campaign runs
- Brief. Your news, your countries, your sectors, your date. We tell you which scope fits, and say so if one country does not need your story.
- Writing and translation. You supply the final text, or we write it. Each country gets its version in the local language.
- Targeting, country by country. We select the journalists who cover your subject in each market: sector, type of outlet, national or regional (see how targeted distribution works).
- Your approval. Nothing is sent before you have approved every version.
- Distribution and follow-up. Releases go out within 6 to 72 hours of submission, with options for media monitoring and a press review afterwards.
No country sells editorial coverage. What a distribution buys is attention: your release on the desks of the reporters who follow your field, in their language. Whether it becomes an article is their call — so be wary of anyone who guarantees a number of foreign articles.
If you are an agency with clients abroad
Agencies are among our regular customers, in France and outside it. You keep the client relationship, we handle the distribution in the countries your client needs, without a local partner to find in each one. Our agency partner program works in white label, at the same rates as the public packs.
Country guides for worldwide press release distribution
For each market, a guide to what changes, what to prepare and what it costs:
Global press release distribution works when it is treated as several national campaigns run by one team: the right countries, the right language in each, and a contact journalists can reach. Choose the smallest scope your news deserves, and translate before you plan the date.
