Stephane Sassi - Album 'Rendez-vous a la coda'

Jazz pianist Sephane Sassi composes and performs a wide variety of jazz styles both on stage and in his studio. For over 30 years he has explored a repertoire that includes swing,  big band, be bop, standards and free jazz.

Here for the first time, he presents a solo album made up of his favourite compostions, some of which were originally performed with other groups (EDS Trio, Voutee More…) and others which have never been produced.

In this recording the energy and vitality of Sassi’s music demonstrates a sense of melody  and a colorful harmonic spectrum. His universe combines an intimate mixture of diverse influences such as the percussive rythyms of Michel Camilo to the melodic and generous musicality of Michel Pertrucciani to create his own  personal cocktail.
